From its beginnings as Omelettry West in 1979, the Magnolia Cafe on Lake Austin Boulevard (aka Magnolia Cafe West) went on to become a legendary Austin eatery. Now that Magnolia Cafe West is closing, we wanted to pay tribute to its place in Austin history by interviewing Magnolia owner Kent Cole to learn more about this unique diner.

Iconic Austin Murals Tour

Austin is well known for its diverse collection of murals and street art, and a mural tour is a great way to spend an afternoon in Austin. So, as a courtesy for visitors, we put together a handy little guide to seven of Austin's most iconic murals. The tour starts up north and ends in SoCo at Prima Dora. Enjoy!
